HSBC in Newton Abbot is closed for two weeks for a refurbishment from tomorrow.
The Courtenay Street branch revamp includes internal building work, new paint, new signage and the installation of new, state-of-the-art cash machines.
The branch is expected to reopen on April 17.
Suzanne King, HSBC UK’s local director, said: ‘We continue to invest in our branch network to make our customers’ experience banking with us a good one. ‘We are pleased that our Newton Abbot branch is getting a refresh.’
‘We have been talking to customers about the temporary closure for the last month, and while we are having the work done, people can continue to use their nearest Post Office for day to day transactions.’
During the closure, staff will be hosting community ‘pop up’ events at Coffee No1 on April 4, 5, 8 and 9 between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
Customers can continue to use other branches with the nearest being Paignton.
