A TOY company boss from Bishopsteignton died when his car suddenly crashed off the A30 in atrocious weather conditions in Cornwall.

Andrew West (pictured), 59, was driving to a toy fair in Fraddon when his Jaguar left the road and ploughed into a group of trees outside Launceston just half-an-hour away from his destination.

Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene shortly after the incident at 8.10am on Friday.

The single-vehicle accident was seen by a colleague who was driving behind him at the time.
