AS His Majesty's Coronation gets underway, a packed day of Coronation events in Kingsteignton has been kicked off by Town Crier Jackie Edwards.
Town Crier Jackie Edwards' opening speech signalled the start of a series of events Kingsteignton Town Council has planned for today, Saturday, May 6.

Revellers are invited to pop along to the community hall at Rydon Road and join the festivities.
There is a whole host of family friendly fun to be had: bouncy castles, face painting, arts and crafts, balloon sculpting and much live music, including performances by the Back Beach Boyz and the Liberty Sisters.

And, of course, there is food and drink too: The Fat Pony Gourmet Burgers and The Box Bar to name but two.
Events will wrap up around 6pm.
