PLANS have been submitted to convert part of a Bovey Tracey garage into a pizza takeaway.

The Dartmoor Garage in Station Road has recently been taken over by locally-run MZM Automotive and continues to offer servicing, repairs and sales.

Now, the Pegasus Group has put in an application to convert the former garage showroom area into an outlet for the Domino’s pizza chain.

The application states it will ‘form a new hot food takeaway (sui generis) and for the installation of extraction and ventilation equipment, a replacement shopfront, and external alterations to the rear of the unit. This will facilitate their occupation of the site as a pizza takeaway.’
