A top brass salary bill of more than £460,000 at Teignbridge Council has prompted leader Cllr Jeremy Christophers to say the cost had become too high and that a 'nothing ruled out' review was imminent.Cllr Christophers was talking to the Advertiser on Tuesday after Torridge District Council announced it was to scrap its chief executive post.For 19 months the two authorities shared Teignbridge's chief executive, Nicola Bulbeck, in the altered role but the full cost of that is now to fall back on the district.'What we are going to do is commission an independent report into our senior management as a whole,' said Cllr Christophers.'This is part of our executive forward plan and will come before us either at the next meeting or the one thereafter. it is something we're being proactive on.'
