Teignmouth residents who have made outstanding contributions to the town will be recognised in an awards ceremony in March.

Nominations for Teignmouth’s annual Mayor’s Recognition Awards can be made via a form on the Town Council website which can be filled in and emailed back to the council or dropped in at Bitton House.

There are three categories in the 2025 Teignmouth Mayor’s Recognition Awards: Individual Excellence; Community Champions; and Youth Hero. Nominees must live in, work in, or have strong links with Teignmouth.

Nominations close on February 13 and the awards will be presented by Teignmouth mayor, councillor Cate Williams, at a ceremony at Bitton House on March 7.
