A working group is collaborating with local groups, charities, choirs etc to put together a variety of entertainment and activities for the whole community to come and enjoy.
The main performance stage will be on the Den from Thursday to Sunday 2 to 5. They also hope to have entertainment in other locations around the town.
As part of the event the council will be taking part in the Lighting of Beacons on Thursday 2 June. A Piper will play the Diu Regnare at 9.35pm before the beacon is lit at 9.45pm.
On Sunday 5 June the Big Lunch will take place. The Big Lunch began in 2009 and encourages communities to get to know each other a little better.
The working group welcomes your ideas and if you run a choir, dance group, sport club etc and would like to be involved in the event please contact us – phone 01626 775030 or email.
