Residents across Teignbridge are heading to polling stations today to vote in elections for the Devon and Cornwall area Police and Crime Commissioner. Three candidates are standing for election.

Voters in Ashburton and Buckfastleigh are also voting to select a new councillor for Teignbridge District Council. Seven candidates are standing for the post.

Meanwhile, in Teignmouth, voters are also being asked to vote in a referendum of the town’s neighbourhood plan. Residents are being asked: ‘Do you want Teignbridge District Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Teignmouth to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’
