Teignbridge's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A38, from 9pm July 21 to 6am July 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Drumbridges lane closure for drainage survey.
And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 8pm July 24 to 6am July 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 lane closure for drainage survey.
• A38, from 8pm July 25 to 5am July 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh to Harcombe - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.
• A30, from 9pm July 30 to 6am August 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington, junction Exeter carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for resurfacing, diversion via exit and entry slip roads for motorway traffic, diversion via A377, minor roads through Marsh Barton, B3213 and A379 for A38 traffic.
• A38, from 9pm August 2 to 6am August 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Kennford carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads and convoy working for resurfacing, diversion via minor road between exit and entry slip roads.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
