Teignbridge's motorists will have 16 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
And a further 15 closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 8pm February 20 to 4am February 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Drumbridges to Goodstone - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.
• A38, from 8pm February 21 to 4am February 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Chudleigh to Clay Lane - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.
• A30, from 8am to 2pm on February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to M5, junction 31 lane closure for surveys.
• A30, from 10am to 2pm on February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington exit and entry slip roads closed for surveys, diversion for exit slip via M5 northbound to junction 30 and return, non-motorway traffic southbound, on A38 to Kennford and return, diversion for entry slip westbound to Cheriton Bishop and return.
• A30, from 2pm to 3pm on February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington entry slip road closed for surveys, diversion via A30 eastbound, M5 northbound to junction 30 and return, non-motorway traffic southbound, on A38 to Kennford and return.
• A38, from 7pm February 24 to 6am March 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 westbound, Splatford Split to Chudleigh carriageway closure, for horticultural works, diversion via A380, B3195, B3193, B3344 to rejoin A38.
• A30, from 7am to 2pm on February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, M5, junction 31 to Woodleigh, lane closure for surveys.
• A30, from 8am to 2pm on February 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Tongue End to Whiddon Down - lane closure for inspection/surveys.
• A38, from 7pm February 26 to 7am March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Dartbridge exit slip road lane closures and traffic signals for Devon County Council works.
• A30, from 7pm February 27 to 6am February 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen - lane closure for safety barrier repairs.
• A30, from 8pm February 28 to 6am March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 northbound, Wobbly Wheel exit slip, carriageway closure for Sign maintenance Scheme, diversion via A30, A377, March Grn Rd, Grace Rd, Hennock Rd.
• A30, from 8pm February 28 to 6am March 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington exit slip, carriageway closure for Sign maintenance Scheme, diversion via A30, A38 Kennford and return.
• A38, from 7pm March 3 to 6am March 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Chudleigh entry slip closure, for horticultural works, diversion via B3344 to rejoin A38.
• A38, from 8pm March 3 to 4am March 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Dartbridge entry slip road closed for drainage works. Diversion via B3380 to Lower Dean.
• A30, from 8pm March 3 to 6am March 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Cheriton Bishop to Fingle Glen - lane closure for electrical works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
