Teignbridge's motorists will have 16 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 16 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• A38, from 7pm January 15 to 6am January 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone lane closure for horticultural works.

• A30, from 7pm January 15 to 6am January 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, South Tawton lane closure for drainage works.

• A38, from 7pm January 15 to 6am January 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 westbound, Dartbridge lane closure for structure maintenance.

• A30, from 8pm January 15 to 4am January 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington lane closure for barrier repairs.

• A38, from 7pm January 16 to 6am January 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Drumbridges exit slip road lane closure for drainage works.

• A38, from 8pm January 17 to 6am January 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Drumbridges carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for structure maintenance, diversion via exit and entry slip roads.

• A38, from 8pm January 18 to 6am January 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Drumbridges carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for structure maintenance, diversion via exit and entry slip roads.

• A30, from 7pm January 22 to 5am January 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Tedburn St Mary lane closure for horticultural works.

• A38, from 7pm January 22 to 6am January 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Goodstone Cross lane closure for horticultural works.

• A38, from 8pm January 22 to 6am January 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 Both Directions Kennford lane closures for structure maintenance.

• A38, from 7pm January 24 to 6am January 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Dart Bridge lane closure for horticultural works.

• A38, from 8pm January 24 to 6am January 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Haldon Hill to Kennford lane closures for structure maintenance.

• A38, from 8.30pm January 24 to 6am January 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Wobbly Wheel exit slip road to A379 lane closures for structure maintenance.

• A38, from 9pm January 24 to 6am January 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Splatford entry slip road from A380 closure for structure maintenance, diversion via Kennford entry slip road.

• A30, from 7pm January 26 to 5am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Ide lane closure for horticultural works.

• A38, from 8pm January 29 to 6am January 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 westbound, Telegraph Hill to Chudleigh carriageway closure for structure maintenance, diversion via A380, A383, A382 to Drumbridges, diversion for Belvedere Cross via Haldon Ridge Road to A380.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
