Teignbridge's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A38, from 7pm June 3 to 4am June 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 Both Directions Harcombe to Belvedere lane closures for barrier repairs.

A38, from 8pm June 4 to 6am June 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Kennford to Wobbly Wheel - lane closure for electrical works.

A38, from 8pm June 4 to 6am June 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Wobbly Wheel to Kennford - lane closure for electrical works.

A30, from 8pm June 10 to 6am June 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip road to A30 closed for road markings, diversion via A38 southbound to Kennford and return.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
