Teignbridge's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A30, from 7pm September 2 to 6am September 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, between Fingle Glen and Alphington lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 8pm September 2 to 4am September 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Kennford to Splatford Split, lane closure for barrier works.
• A30, from 8pm September 2 to 6am September 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Exeter exit slip road to M5, junction 31 closed for resurfacing, diversion via A38 southbound to Kennford.
• M5, from 8pm September 2 to 6am September 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 31 lane closure for resurfacing.
• A30, from 7pm September 3 to 6am September 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, between Alphington and Fingle Glen lane closure for horticultural works.
• A30, from 8pm September 5 to 4am September 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Cheriton Bishop lane closures for barrier repairs.
• A38, from 8pm September 9 to 6am September 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Dartbridge entry slip road closed for structural inspections. Diversion via A38 eastbound to Peartree and return.
• A38, from 8pm September 10 to 6am September 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Dartbridge exit slip road closed for structural inspections. Diversion via A38 eastbound to Peartree and return.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
