THE road that links the communities in the Teign Valley is set to close. Devon County Council put out a warning that the B3293 will be closed, or at best delayed, from 7.00 on April 25 to 19.00 on April 29.

However, with weather permitting, the closure will only be in full force for a few hours on the Monday afternoon.

Road works are not just for the Chudleigh end of the Teign Valley Road. There is also planned works at the same time on the B3193 from Sowton Cott Bridge to Bridford Mills to enable surface dressing.

Currently, there is still delays on the road with temporary traffic lights on the exit towards Chudleigh.
