ROAD accidents involving motorcyclists have dramatically reduced on four major routes in Teignbridge.

But while the number of collisions has dropped, road safety officers are still urging motorcyclists to take action to keep themselves safe.

The reduction between numbers in 2010 and 2011 has come following the introduction of motorcycle safety signs which read Think Bike and Biker In Your Blindspot? which have been placed on roadsides on the A382 Newton Abbot to Whiddon Down, A380 from Penn Inn to Kerswell gardens, the A379 near Powderham Castle and A381 Kingsteignton to Teignmouth.
