THEY’RE dancing in the streets of Bovey Tracey today (Saturday April 26) as part of an age-old tradition to mark the end of winter.

The Green Man Festival sees music and dance from a multitude of Morris sides from across the Westcountry doing their bit with sticks , bells and hankies to welcome in the Spring.

The entertainment began at 10am with a parade of Morris sides lead by the Green Man himself before dancing broke out at various location in the town

The event continues on the streets until late this afternoon and will carry on into the evening with live music in the town’s hostelries.
