TEIGNMOUTH'S only nightclub – Kools – has closed.

The mayor, Cllr June Green, described the shock move as 'very disappointing' and hoped it could reopen before the main summer season.

A notice pinned to the door states that the premises have been repossessed by the landlord, JMW Property Services Ltd, of Paignton, from the tenants, Geoffrey James Pennie and Wendy Fay Pennie.
