Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 6am November 7 to 8pm December 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Fingle Glen to Alphington lane closures/contraflow and 50mph speed limit for resurfacing.

A30, from 6am October 25 2022 to 6am February 25 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington entry slip lane narrowing for resurfacing.

And a further four closures will begin over the next seven days:

A38, from 7pm December 5 to 6am December 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Marley Head to Lower Dean lane closure and convoy for carriageway surfacing works.

A38, from 9pm December 5 to 6am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay junction, Ashburton exit slip road closure for resurfacing, diversion via A38 eastbound to Goodstone and return.

A38, from 7pm December 7 to 6am December 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay exit slip road closed for carriageway surfacing works. Diversion via A38 eastbound to Goodstone, junction and return to exit.

A30, from 6am December 15 to 6am December 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington to Fingle Glen 24hr lane closure and 50mph speed limit for resurfacing.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
