Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A30, from 8pm April 9 to 6am April 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Cheriton Bishop to Fingle Glen - lane closure for electrical works.
• A30, from 7pm April 14 to 6am April 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 eastbound to A30 westbound, link road closed for surveys. Diversion via A379, Bad Hamburgway, Alphin Brook Road, Church Road, A377 to A30 Alphington for non-motorway traffic or M5 junction.30 and return to junction 31 to exit.
• A38, from 7pm April 14 to 6am April 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 Linhay to Goodstone used as a diversion for 3rd party (E and JW Glendinning Ltd) closure of minor unnamed local road. Includes eastbound, lane closure on the A38.
• A38, from 7pm April 15 to 6am April 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 westbound, Chudleigh exit and entry slip road closure for surveys works, diversion for exit via A38 westbound to Drumbridges and return, diversion for entry slip via Belvedere Cross and return.
• A38, from 8pm April 15 to 6am April 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Kenn entry slip road closed for electrical works, diversion via next entry slip road.
• A38, from 7pm April 16 to 6am April 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh exit slip road closure for surveys works. , diversion for entry slip via Belvedere Cross and return.
• A38, from 8pm April 16 to 6am April 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Kennford, lane closure for surveys.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
