Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have 13 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A30, from 6am January 9 to 8pm February 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Fingle Glen to Alphington lane closures/contraflow and 50mph speed limit for resurfacing.

• A30, from 6am October 25 2022 to 6am February 25 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington entry slip lane narrowing for resurfacing.

And a further 11 closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A38, from 7pm January 30 to 6am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 to Wobbly Wheel lane closure for horticultural works.

• A30, from 8pm January 30 to 4am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 Both Directions Whiddon Down to Tongue End lane closures for barrier repair.

• A38, from 8pm February 1 to 6am February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Harcombe lane closure for sign maintenance.

• A30, from 9pm February 1 to 6am February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 30 to 31 - lane closure for safety barrier repairs.

• A38, from 8pm February 6 to 4am February 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Linhay to Dart Bridge - lane closure for drainage works.

• A38, from 8pm February 7 to 4am February 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Lower Dean to Peartree - lane closure for drainage works.

• A30, from 7pm February 8 to 6am February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 Both Directions Tongue End to Woodleigh lane closures for drainage.

• M5, from 9am to 4pm on February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 31 hard shoulder closures for electrical works.

• A30, from 7pm February 9 to 6am February 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Whiddon Down to Woodleigh lane closures for drainage.

• A38, from 7pm February 9 to 6am February 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Ashburton lane closure for carriageway sweeping.

• A38, from 7pm February 10 to 6am February 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Ashburton to Goodstone lane closure for carriageway sweeping.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
