Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 7pm April 15 to 6am April 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Peartree to Lower Dean - lane closure for survey works.
• A38, from 7pm April 15 to 6am April 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Clay Lane, Chudleigh Knighton, exit slip road closure for horticultural works, diversion via A38 eastbound to Chudleigh Station, B3344, B3193 and Clay Lane.
• A30, from 8pm April 16 to 6am April 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip road to A30 closed for resurfacing, diversion via A38 southbound to Kennford and return.
• A38, from 8pm April 18 to 6am April 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Marley Head to M5, junction 31 lane closure for barrier repair.
• A30, from 8pm April 18 to 4am April 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Ide to Alphington - lane closure for carriageway reconstruction/renewal works.
• A38, from 8pm April 19 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Dartbridge exit slip road closure for barrier repair, diversion to Rattery, junction and return.
• A38, from 7pm April 22 to 5am April 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Clay Lane to Chudleigh lane closure for drainage works.
• A38, from 7pm April 25 to 5am April 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Chudleigh - lane closure for drainage works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
