Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have 11 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A30, from 6am February 15 to 8pm February 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington lane closure and 50mph speed limit for resurfacing.

• A30, from 7pm February 9 to 6am February 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Whiddon Down to Woodleigh lane closures for drainage.

• A30, from 6am October 25 2022 to 6am February 25 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington entry slip lane narrowing for resurfacing.

• A30, from 7pm February 15 to 6am March 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington junction, Exeter carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Five Mile Hill, Tedburn Road and Ide Lane.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A38, from 7pm February 20 to 6am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay to Goodstone lane closures for, junction improvement works. Local authority, junction closed, eastbound, diversion via A38 Goodstone. Westbound, diversion via Linhay and return to Goodstone to exit.

• A38, from 9pm February 21 to 6am February 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone to Drumbridges lane closure for barrier repairs.

• A38, from 9pm February 21 to 5am February 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Dart Bridge to Linhay - lane closure for safety barrier repairs.

• A30, from 7pm February 23 to 6am February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington to Fingle Glen lane closure for safety barrier repairs.

• A30, from 8pm February 24 to 4am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, between Whiddon Down and Woodleigh lane closure for horticultural works.

• A30, from 8pm February 24 to 6am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 to A30 westbound, lane closure for horticultural works.

• A30, from 7pm March 6 to 6am March 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, between Fingle Glen and Alphington lane closure for horticultural works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
