THE dedicated bell ringers based in Kingsteignton have repeated their success of winning a major competition.
The team, who regularly ring at the All Saints Church in Combeinteignhead, have won the Ross Shield which has been going since the 1920s.
It is a prestigious major final competition of the Devon Association of Ringers.
Church warden Clare Wreford said: ‘The whole of the congregation and local residents of Combeinteignhead are so proud of their achievement yet again.
‘To come first in such a major final is truly amazing and we are so grateful to boast of a brilliant group of Bell Ringers at our church.’
