RAIL passengers in south Devon are being warned to check on services as rail unions take further industrial action.
Both Great Western Railway and Cross Country, which serve stations in south Devon, are affected by the strikes which will affect services today, tomorrow and possibly Sunday.
Today’s strike by train guards and station staff will lead to only half of rail services running.
Even more trains are likely to be cancelled on tomorrow when it's the turn of train drivers to walk out.
Rail union officials say there is strong support among the public for their industrial action.
Extremely limited services will run until 6.30pm today and tomorrow.
Minor changes are expected to early morning services on June 4.
About 20,000 rail workers including guards and train managers as well as station staff in the RMT are striking.
Tickets for today can be used on the day before the date on the ticket or up to and including Tuesday June 6.
