FORDE Park Community Project was thrilled this week to receive a donation of £3000 from the Andy Gunn Foundation, a local charity supporting those with a need within the hospitality industry.

This generous sum will go toward providing further enabling hours to support workers with additional needs at Our Pavilion.

Mark Clarvis, chair of FPCP, is seen receiving the cheque from Roy Stephenson, chair of AGF.

The Pavilion has been operational for more than two years now and during the winter remains open seven days a week from 9.30am to 3pm.

Currently 25 workers are supported with the help of around 20 volunteers.

Further volunteers are very much required, especially as summer approaches and longer opening hours are planned.
