HEROIN with a street value of £30,000 has been seized by police after they stopped a car in the early hours of this morning, Friday.
Teignmouth and Dawlish Police report on their Facebook page: ‘A big result for our patrol team in the small hours of this morning in Teignmouth.
‘After our officers stopped a vehicle with no insurance, instead of stopping to chat the occupants all decided to go for a very early morning run, in the process throwing a large brown bag of powder into a nearby garden.
‘The result? Three people in custody and what is believed to be heroin with a street value of around £30,000 off the street.
‘A great effort by the two PCs involved.’
