THE Mid-Devon Advertiser series has joined other titles in the Tindle Newspaper Group in becoming a proud supporter of The Prince's Countryside Fund.
The group has donated £100,000 to the charity.
It was founded in 2010 by Prince Charles to support British agriculture and the rural economy.
With the help of businesses it provides grants of up to £50,000 to projects that provide training for young people, improve services or support rural and farming enterprise.
To date it has given £3.3 million to more than 70 projects across the UK and helped more than 52,000 people.
In Teignbridge, the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World, based until last year at Haldon Forest, was awarded £4,800 for the Wool Directory, a project that connects producers and users.
