CRIMINALS operating in rural Dartmoor are being targeted by a police initiative to cut crime.

Officers have joined forces with other agencies, including Dartmoor Rangers and the national park, to tackle a range of common moorland crimes including thefts from cars, livestock theft, fly-tipping, anti-social use of vehicles, wildlife crime, theft of agricultural equipment and machinery.
