A PLAY area in Newton Abbot currently undergoing refurbishment will provide an area for children to learn to ride a bike.
The Ashburton Road Play Area, which is sometimes referred to as Figure of Eight Park and has been undergoing refurbishment since December, will feature a hard surfaced loop where young children can learn to ride a bike - a historic feature of the park.

The equipment in place is aimed to meet the needs of children between the ages of one to 12 years and uses a mix of formal play equipment combined with landscaped features.
The play area serves a wide area including Highweek, Broadlands, Bradley Valley and Hele Park.
