OYEZ, Oyez, Dawlish has a new town crier. 

Bob Graham has taken over the role following Stephen Cunliffe who served as town crier for 44 years. 

Bob will be available for civic and other event functions after May once his livery has been made to measure.

Army veteran Bob, who served in the army catering corps, saw service in Germany, Norther Ireland and the Falklands conflict of 1982. 

With his wife Heather live in Dawlish and run the Dawlish Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club. 

Bob is also a volunteer driver for Dawlish Community Transport.
