A COMMUNITY swimming pool is to open in the coming weeks.

Chudleigh Community Project, which, among other things, oversees the outdoor swimming pool in the town, will be opening said pool for the summer season on Saturday, April 29.

Information about the new season is to be posted to the Chudleigh pool website in due course.

There are, however, a number of jobs which still need doing between now and the opening, and there is always a need for additional volunteers.

There are a pair of working parties on the next two Wednesdays and Sundays, volunteers can help out at the kiosk and Chudleigh Community Project plan to do a leaflet drop in Chudleigh ahead of the opening.
