POLICE have charged suspected drugs operators from South Devon after an operation to stifle the supply of drugs across the county and the rest of the UK.

All nine have been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin between March 2017 and July this year. They are:

Richard Walters, 47, from Efford, Plymouth

Bethany Walsh, 19, from Commercial Road, Exeter

Mark Williams, 53, of Mutley, Plymouth

Edward Morrin, 42, of no fixed abode, Exeter

David Tape, 40, of Pinhoe, Exeter

William Tucker, 29, of Hillcrest, Cullompton

George Cubbon, 53, of Grendon Road, Exeter

Stephanie Burgess, 21, of Mutley, Plymouth

Reece Baker, 20 of no fixed abode, Plymouth

Each is due to appear at Exeter Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).

Police previously arrested and charged two others as part of the operation - Darryl Clough, 28, of Manifold Gardens, Plymouth, and Jack Ball, 26, from Stonehouse, Plymouth, who was arrested at Heathrow Airport on November 6.

Both have been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply Class-A drugs.

They have already appeared at Exeter Magistrates’ Court and are expected to appear before Liverpool Crown Court on December 7
