A NEWTON Abbot woman has denied a drink-driving charge.

Sharon Yvonne Clegg, aged 44, of Beacon Drive, pleaded not guilty to driving while over the limit in the car park of the Premier Inn at Kingsteignton. It is alleged she gave a reading of 89 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court adjourned the case until September 19 for a trial.
