Two Newton Abbot brothers have been busy fixing the hair of reality show celebrities.

Hairdressers Josh, 26, and Rhys Woodman, 23, are working on the current series of X Factor: Celebrity. They’ve also recently worked on X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

Proud mum Elaine Woodman, also a hairdresser, said: ‘I’m so proud of my boys for having these opportunities and for working so hard to achieve them.

‘My oldest son Josh, who works at Andrew Hill Salon, worked on the X Factor final. He also did Britain’s Got Talent in May and is now working on the Britain’s Got Talent Champions Show. Rhys, who works with me at #hair, has also had the opportunity to do the Britain’s Got Talent Champions Show.

‘They work with top stylist Adam Reed. Adam also styles Tess Daley’s hair for Strictly Come Dancing.’

Both boys attended Coombeshead Academy and Bradley Barton Primary School and went on to do apprenticeships in hairdressing.

Josh was trained in house at Andrew Hill Salon and Rhys trained at South Devon College and with his mum. Josh recently picked up a Denman Stage Star Award for his hairdressing skills.
