DESPITE the atrocious bank holiday weather, The Ship Inn Music Festival was a major triumph.
It rained so heavily on Monday that the whole event was moved into the pub, but organiser Peter Williams said there were some great sets and everybody had a ball.
He praised the Ship staff, the technicians, bands and the public for making Teignmouth's annual free musicfest such a huge success.
Ollie Stephens kicked off the event at noon on Saturday and was ably supported during the afternoon by some of the young talent in the town. Kelsey Conroy, Luke and Beth, Fi Riches and Josh Herring were tested by keeping a crowd entertained in some of the worst weather the event has seen.
