A COLLISION between a bus and two cars has occurred in Newton Abbot, at the traffic lights on the B1395 crossroads next to Asda, the Cattle Market and the Swan Inn.
Reports from the scene indicate that the double-decker bus was in collision with another car.
The collision then caused a chain reaction, hitting the car at the front of the queue as well.
Two ambulances and a police car are at the scene. One person has been taken in with back injuries, while a further two individuals are being medically assessed.
A police officer at the scene confirmed that there are no critical injuries, but stated that 'the road will remain closed until all injuries have been assessed.'
All other directions of traffic remain open.
Debris was scattered across the junction, with all cars sustaining serious damage. The front of the Stagecoach bus had caved in from the collision, although the bus driver is reportedly uninjured.
The road has since re-opened.
