AS trees and branches are cleared from roads this morning and train services are disrupted, more than 100 households across Teignbridge are waking up still without power.

Western Power Distribution workers have been out all over the weekend but 75 homes in the Kenn and Exminster have been told their power should be reconnected by 11.30pm tonight (Monday).

Likewise in the Moretonhampstead area where 48 homes are in blackout.

Western Power Distribution promise: ‘Our engineers are still working hard to restore electricity to customers who lost power in Storm Eunice.’
