A TEIGNMOUTH man who denies stalking a woman has been remanded in custody.
Stephen Monico Hamlyn, aged 50, of Kingsway, is charged with stalking a woman in Kingsteignton, causing her to fear on at least two occasions that violence would be used against her.
It is alleged he sent handwritten messages through her letterbox, a series of threatening messages by mobile phone as well as voicemails and Whatsappmessages as well as turning up at her home and workplace.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and South and West Devon Magistrates' Court remanded him in custody until Monday, March 27, for a casemanagement hearing.
