A STREET protest against rock guitarist Brian May's campaign to protect badgers which featured rotting chicken carcasses resulted in the arrest of a Broadhempston man.
Hobby farmer Phil Torr took against the former Queen musician because of his pledge to fight the forthcoming cull.
A government e-petition Dr May started has attracted more than 200,000 signatures meaning the matter could be debated in Parliament.
Mr Torr, a 59-year-old agronomist, saw red when he discovered the remains of two hens, a cockerel and a duck on his smallholding.
