A MAN has admitted wounding a man in Market Street, Newton Abbot, while armed with a Stanley knife.
Zakarie Mosam, aged 20, of Lower French Park, pleaded guilty to wounding after the prosecution agreed not to pursue a more serious charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Mosam admitted carrying out the attack and possessing a bladed article on January 13 this year when he appeared before Judge Neil Davey, KC, at Exeter Crown Court.
The judge adjourned the sentence until July 3, ordered a probation pre-sentence report and released Mosam on bail.
