A LOCAL charity is taking nominations for people to receive free tickets to its upcoming ABBA tribute concert in Torquay.
ABBA tribute band, Take a Chance on Us, will be performing at Plainmoor on Saturday, December 14.
Dubbed as ‘The Ultimate Christmas Party’, the concert has been organised by Wellbeing in Action, a charity that uses ‘social action to prevent and remove harm to people’s emotional, financial, social and mental wellbeing.’
The charity is asking for nominations of people deserving of a free ticket to the event.
A spokesperson for the charity said: ‘Do you know someone who deserves a magical night out?
‘Perhaps they have had a very tough time lately - perhaps been caring for someone poorly or losing someone close.
‘They might have struggled with losing their home or found money too tight to enjoy socialising.
‘Or you may have had a difficult time yourself and they have been your rock.
Whoever springs to mind, this is your opportunity to reward them with a special treat.
