Are you all ready for some al fresco dining?
With fine weather thoughts turn to eating al fresco… and Teignmouth Farmers’ Market tomorrow (Saturday, July 31) in the Triangle between 10am and 2pm is just the place to pick up something special.
Start off with India in a Jar’s exotic offerings.
Higher Humber and Stanbury Game both offer a selection of sausages and burgers for the kids or something more adventurous for adults or a grand occasion.
Grab some honey from Flora’s Honey to make a sweet barbecue sauce straight out of the South, or some goat meat from Norsworthy for a traditional kebab.
Make a side with some fresh vegetables from Shillingford Organic, or pick up a vegan or vegetarian salad to go from the Veggie Deli.
Mop up any juices or dips with bread from Bread of Devon, and don’t forget Curworthy Cheese or Pat a Cake cakes and traybakes for afters.
Too hot to cook? Look out for gourmet pies and pasties from Red Earth Kitchen.
Meet the farmers that bring you all this abundance at this monthly market.
All produce comes from within 30 miles of Teignmouth and sold by the people that produce it.
Keep it real, keep it local, and make it happen.
The Teignmouth Farmers’ Market takes place every last Saturday of the month between 10am and 2pm in Teignmouth Town Centre.
It is held with the permission of Teignmouth Town Council and with the backing of the Teignmouth Traders Association.
Regular support from Teignbridge District Council is also gratefully received.
