MORE than 200 babies, parents and grandparents took part in a gentle 1.5-mile walk through Haldon Forest recently.
The Little Legs Walk event, organised by the Gro Company, saw families come together for a day of exploring the Gruffalo trail and take part fun activities including face painting and a bouncy castle.
Some £2,500 was raised for the Lullaby Trust, one of the country’s leading charities dedicated to the research and prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
The trust provides specialist support for bereaved families, promotes expert advice on safet baby sleep and supports research to understand why five babies a week still die from the syndrome.
