A FREE ‘seed saving’ talk is coming to a Newton Abbot community centre.

The Courtenay Centre will host the talk from 7pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday, May 13.

The joint talk by Newton Abbot And District Co-operative Allotment Association and Newton Abbot Seed Library will delve into how to harvest and store seeds.

It will also be an opportunity to learn how to save money, share seeds with others and to safeguard heritage varieties, as well as finding out which seeds should not be saved.

There will be refreshments available.
