A NEWTON Abbot youth who threatened another person with a knife has been sent to the Crown Court for sentencing.

Morgan Brien, aged 19, of Hilton Road, pleaded guilty to having a blade, a large kitchen knife, in Church Road, Newton Abbot, and unlawfully and intentionally threatened another person with it.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court committed Brien to Exeter Crown Court for sentence.
