KINGSKERSWELL Show and Garden Society will celebrate its 70th anniversary on Saturday, September 12 at the Parish Meadow.

There will be various things for people to see and do, including live music, games, a display by the Torbay Owls and work from Kingskerswell Primary School being shown at the parish centre.

The annual event will also see the return of the scarecrow competition, which will be judged on the day after being displayed outside the participants’ properties in the days leading to the show.

The village show opens at 11am and the Garden Society Show at 2pm.
