A High Court injunction has ended a Dartmoor farmer's battle to keep a golf course on his land.
The move marks the end of a long-running dispute which began in 1995.
John Dance, of Reddacleave Brakes, Dean Prior, first ran into trouble with the authorities in 1996, a year after starting to build the nine-hole course.
Dartmoor National Park Authority took enforcement action but despite doing so Mr Dance continued to develop the site and in 1999 a legal case was launched against him.
There then followed two independent inquiries, both of which found in the national park's favour.
However, it was not until August this year, when the DNPA authorised contractors to move and dig up the greens and tees, that play finally ended.
