SUNDAY is a day of rest... but not, as it turned out, if you are one of Chagford’s firefighters, who had an especially August 6.

The crew attended as many as three incidents.

An early start assisting South West Ambulance saw the crew in Lustleigh, before beign called away to a Road Traffic Collision (RTC) near North Tawton where a vehicle had left the road with three occupants trapped inside.

Upon returning to station the crew were sent straight back out to once again assist South West ambulance with a patient in Moretonhampstead.
