AN inclusive café in Newton Abbot where people gain new skills needs your help.

Despite its success and standing among the community, No Limits Café and Hub faces a ‘short-term funding crisis’.

‘The current economic climate poses challenges, leading to a short-term funding crisis’ the café said on its newly launched Crowdfunder.

‘We need your help to continue offering opportunities to local people with different abilities and to meet the increasing demand for our services’ it went on to say.

The café has launched a Crowdfunder with a target of £30,000 - more than £5,000 has already been raised, despite the campaign having only just launched.

The money will allow No Limits to expand its work experience programmes, create more job opportunities and improve its facilities for better accessibility.

It will also help the café manage the high demand for its ‘Supported Employment Outreach’ programme.

General and health insurance business, Aviva, will match individual donations up to £250 per donation.

‘We love the community we have built in Newton Abbot’ No Limits Café and Hub said.

‘Times are tough for everybody, but please pledge if you can or help us by sharing far and wide to help spread the word about our campaign!’ they added.

Since 2020, the café has supported nearly 100 individuals through its work experience placements, helping them transition into paid employment and gain self-confidence and a sense of inclusion and value.
