ONE of Teignbridge's much-loved outdoor swimming pools is calling up volunteers to help tidy up the pool ahead of its opening later in the year.

Kingsteignton Swimming Pool, an open-air, volunteer run swimming pool, is hosting a 'Get The Pool Ready' day this Saturday, April 1.

Between 10am and 3.30pm, volunteers will be busing themselves with weeding, painting, cleaning, gardening and much more besides, all in a bid to have the pool in ship shape condition for the summer.

A spokesman for Kingsteignton Swimming Pool said: 'If you can help with any of these activities, please come along!

'We look forward to seeing you there.'
